The Bear Paw cabin has a large front porch. A great spot to sit and drink your morning coffee.

Your Host

Hi, I'm Callie! I'm a mom of four who loves to get out and explore with my family. I created Forced Family Fun because nothing is more important to me than making memories with my loved ones. Of course, sometimes those loved ones (especially the teens) need a little convincing. So, we joke that we're "forcing" them to have fun with us!

 

I’m passionate about creating comfortable spaces where you can enjoy quality time together, and yes—"force" your people to make lasting memories. It’s all about those moments that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is at 4:00pm and checkout is at 10:00am.
Are early check-in and late checkout available?
After booking, you will receive a link to request a 2-hour early check-in or late checkout for a small fee. This request goes to our cleaning team who will approve it if they can accommodate it in their schedules that day.
Do you allow pets?
Our Kanab properties do not allow pets. Our Heber-Overgaard cabins do allow pets for a fee of $50 per pet per reservation. (Pets are not to be left in the cabin unattended unless in a crate. Please bring your own blankets/towels for your pet. Pets are not allowed on furniture.)
How far are the properties from the nearby National Parks?
Kanab, UT is about a 40-minute drive to the East entrance of Zion National Park, about 1 hour 20 minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park, and 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Grand Canyon North Rim. Heber-Overgaard, AZ is about an hour drive to the Petrified Forest National Park.

If you’re lucky enough to stay in Kanab, don’t miss out on this house! It’s beautiful, clean and has everything you could possibly need. We loved it! Callie was great and extremely responsive. We travel a ton and this is one of our top destinations and the house was the icing on the cake! We will be back!

Everything was very easy and convenient. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was the gas fireplace. We didn’t see any Instructions in the house manual. Great location and value.

We absolutely loved the house. We had to message the host when we arrived because the house had an extremely pungent odor. When we messaged the host, she did offer to send over the cleaning staff. Honestly, I did not see how that would help. We had to out the cabin out for the night. We left to do some activities the next day and when we came back, the smell was still there. Other than that, we absolutely loved the cabin. We honestly hope to return possibly to a different cabin at the same location. There were other friendly renters nearby. The hot tub was wonderful. Lots of privacy and nature.

The area was nice and quiet hot tub was nice everything went well but the beds. My wife and I were dying in em my back hurt so bad every morning. The beds need an upgrade into the 21st century. Dr emmet brown used slept on these in back to the future part 3. No offense but everything else was lovely

This little cabin is nestled in the back away from the road (260 Hwy) and other little cabins giving you the privacy you need for those evening on the deck in the backyard and spa. Kitchen had all the little things and touches. Excellent stay and will be staying this summer again!

A great home away from home! Beautiful views and very peaceful surroundings. One the best appointed rentals we’ve stayed at. Loved stargazing around the firepit. Close to so many activities. We booked some UTV adventures according to the host’s suggestion and they did not disappoint. Our kids are already asking when we can come back. Would definitely recommend.
